“ This review has nothing to do with the food, atmosphere, but has everything to do with the staff. A month ago while visiting Paris I docked my Velib bike around the corner and sat down for a drink at Le Ponthieu when I realized that I had left my cell phone in the bike. The gentleman who was working saw our panic, offered us the wifi password so that we could use my wife’s phone to track the phone and 2 beer and made us laugh with a “here are 2 drinks on the house. you’ll never see that phone again”. It was exactly the laugh we needed when realizing that we lost a phone in a foreign country. I’m happy to report that a lovely man named Henri found the phone when he rented the Velib bike and returned it the next day. Thank you to the employee who reacted perfectly to the situation. So sorry we didn’t get your name. We will return for a drink and dinner during our next trip to Paris, and promise to pay for what we consume next time! Cheers. ”
